Ancient Endurance. Loyal Spirit. Untamed Beauty.
The Siberian Husky is a medium-sized working dog bred by the Chukchi people of Siberia for endurance and resilience in arctic conditions. Known for their speed, stamina, and intelligence, these dogs are pack-oriented, vocal, and fiercely loyal. Despite their wolf-like appearance, Huskies are friendly and social, not guard dogs.
At House Æthelwolf, we recognize and selectively work with Huskies that exhibit unique traits without compromising temperament or health.
The agouti coat is a wild-type coloration often referred to as "wolf-grey." It’s rare and features banded hairs that create a shadowy, feral appearance. Often paired with darker masks and expressive eyes.
Our pups are tracked and evaluated for core behavioral traits, including:
0–8 weeks
Pure cuteness. Sleepy, clumsy, squeaky. Mom still does most of the work.
8–16 weeks
Teething begins, full of curiosity. Biting everything (including your soul).
4–6 months
Energy skyrockets. Testing boundaries. Starts showing independence.
6–12 months
Full-blown “zoomies.” Mouthy, dramatic, cunning, and athletic. Escapes start.
1–2 years
Peak destruction and defiance. Strong, smart, hormonal. They know better… but don’t care.
2–3 years
Calmer, more obedient (if trained), but still mischief-prone if bored.
3+ years
Now they're loyal, majestic, still stubborn — but easier to manage.
We do not chase trends or coat colors — we honor instinct, structure, and temperament. Agouti and rare traits are celebrated, not commercialized. Every pup placed through House Æthelwolf represents a lineage of endurance, loyalty, and purpose.
